Basic skills like sawing, filing, and sanding are helpful, but not required.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOur resident metalsmith, Erin Austin, will guide you through\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eSafety and PPE (personal protective equipment)\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003ePlanning\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eMeasuring and cutting riveting material\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eSetting rivets with a variety of hand tools\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eStudents will leave this workshop with samples and the know how to add tube, wire, stacked, and working rivets to their work.
