That's right, it's already that time of year again! As I'm getting ready to start working on this year's Christmas ornaments, something enameled I think, it occurs to me that it's time to post shipping deadlines!
As the holiday season approaches it's a good idea to keep shipping deadlines in mind when ordering custom pieces or items to be mailed to distant recipients. Luckily, each of my pieces arrives in a gift box or bag ready for giving to make your gift giving job a little easier and extending the amount of time you can procrastinate just a bit. Not that you would, but just in case.
With that in mind, I'll be taking custom orders for US clients up until November 15th (November 1st for international clients) or until my bench list is full, whichever is sooner. If you are interested in a custom order for the holidays contact me as soon as possible to reserve your spot!
The cut off for made to order items (those already listed here or on Etsy) is November 27th for US customers (November 13th for international customers) and the final date to purchase ready to ship pieces will be December 17th for US shoppers (December 3rd for international shoppers). To make it easy to figure out which items are ready to go select "ready to ship" from the shop drop down menu or click here!
Deadlines for US shoppers:
- Custom Orders- November 15th (or until the slots fill)
- Made to Order Pieces- November 27th
- Ready to Ship Pieces- December 17th
Deadlines for international shoppers:
- Custom Orders- November 1st
- Made to Order Pieces- November 13th
- Ready to Ship Pieces- December 3rd
Please keep in mind that these dates are guidelines and not guarantees
If it looks like a package is not going to make it to its destination in time just drop me a line and I am happy to send you a digital note announcing something special on its way to the recipient. Email it to the lucky person, print it out and wrap in a giant box finished with a flashy bow, stuff it in a stocking, hire some carolers to sing it to them, add it to a scrapbook full of pictures of other items that are also soon to arrive, or come up with your own super special presentation technique.
Now take a deep breath and get ready for some holiday fun.
