Make your own copper or brass cuff.

Metalsmith, Erin Austin, will guide you through creating cuff blanks using a guillotine shear, refining the edges with files and sandpaper, annealing the metal to create malleability, folding and opening, and forming your piece into a cuff, and applying patina to bring your design to life.

  • Students must be 18 years or older 

To use the studio you must:

  • Sign a Liability Waiver
  • Wear closed toed shoes
  • Wear appropriate eye protection
  • Wear splash goggles when using the soldering area 
    • Note: 1 pair is available in the studio at the soldering station. If you would like your own pair please bring them. 
  • Tie back long hair 
  • Secure loose clothing
  • Follow all posted Studio rules
  • Follow directions from instructor and/or studio monitors

We also highly suggest wearing natural fibers like cotton, hemp, etc. Synthetic fibers contain plastic that may melt onto your skin if they come into contact with heat! 

Registration: Registration opens December 19th. Registration closes 24hrs before the start of each workshop. 

Refunds and Credit: Refunds are available until 1 week before the scheduled class date. Credit is available up to the class date. Credits must be used with the same instructor.
